1. Product Types and Condition
BD-Eye Boutique offers two distinct types of items: Created and Curated.
1.1 Created Items
These pieces are designed and assembled by BD-Eye Boutique and are sold as new. Some designs may incorporate upcycled or vintage elements (e.g., pendants, charms), but the overall construction and finish are new. All created items are checked for quality before dispatch.
1.2 Curated Items (Pre-loved and Vintage)
Curated items are second-hand, vintage, or pre-owned pieces that have been selected, cleaned, and prepared for resale. These items may show signs of previous use or age-related wear, including patina, faint scratches, or surface irregularities.

All curated items are thoroughly inspected, gently cleaned, and presented as clearly and accurately as possible.

Measurements, materials, and any known brand or origin details are listed in the product description.

Photographs are taken under lighting that aims to reflect the true colour and condition of the piece.

Buyers are encouraged to carefully review all images, descriptions, and dimensions before purchase.
While we aim to maintain high presentation standards, please understand that pre-loved items are not new and may display minor cosmetic wear consistent with their age.
2. Jewellery Hygiene and Component Updates
We take hygiene and wearability seriously, especially when handling vintage and pre-owned pieces.
2.1 Earrings
For hygiene reasons, all earrings in the Curated collection have their ear hooks or studs replaced with brand-new components prior to sale, unless:

The original fittings are sealed, unused, or in exceptional condition, or

The item is a designer or signed vintage piece where retaining the original component is critical to its value or integrity.
All new earring fittings used are cleaned and suitable for general wear. However, these may not be certified hypoallergenic. Please contact us at info@bdeye.boutique if you have specific allergy requirements.
2.2 Necklaces and Bracelets
All clasps, chains, and connections are checked for functionality. Where necessary, clasps may be replaced or reinforced using new findings. Pieces are cleaned with non-abrasive methods to preserve finishes.
2.3 Rings, Brooches, and Miscellaneous
Items are cleaned and tested for security. Pin backs and settings are examined and adjusted as needed. Please refer to the weight and size measurements provided in each listing.
3. Returns Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, we will do our best to resolve it promptly and fairly.
3.1 Eligibility for Return

Items must be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery in their original condition and packaging.

Returned items must be unused, unworn, and undamaged.

Please ensure all packaging, labels, and protective materials are included where possible.
3.2 Items Not Eligible for Return

Earrings, for hygiene reasons, unless faulty or damaged upon receipt.

Any item explicitly marked Final Sale or Non-returnable in the product listing.

Custom-made, altered, or personalised items.

Gift cards or promotional items.
3.3 Condition of Returned Items

All curated or pre-loved items may show signs of previous wear or vintage patina. These characteristics are noted in the description and shown clearly in product images.

These signs of wear do not constitute a fault and are not eligible reasons for return unless the item was significantly misrepresented.

3.4 Faulty or Misdescribed Items
